Daniken Tree Farm is part of a national effort called Trees for Troops which provides more than 18,000 Real Christmas Trees to military families across the United States and overseas.
Trees for Troops began in 2005 when FedEx, who donates the shipping of the trees, and the Christmas Spirit Foundation (CSF) provided 4,300 Real Christmas Trees to military families at five bases in the U.S. and overseas. In 2019 over 18,600 military families at 75 bases in the U.S. and overseas received a tree. Since 2005, CSF and FedEx have delivered over 244,000 Real Christmas Trees. This year, CSF and FedEx with the help of consumers across the country, plan to deliver another 18,000 Christmas Trees to military families.
Daniken Tree Farm partners with The Marine Corps League to fundraise trees through local veterans' groups. Our farm donates the first 50 trees and local veterans' groups typically fundraise another 200. That leaves us 50 short of our yearly goal of 300 trees. We need your help to get the last 50 trees on the truck! You can help us say Thank You and Merry Christmas to our military men and women and their families.
